This gorgeous cabin includes earth plaster walls in the bedroom and bathroom, plus cork backed cortex flooring and ornate metal tiled ceiling in the kitchen. Whether you are looking for a quiet spot to relax or a place near Chico Hot Springs and near Yellowstone Park to enjoy, the Teacherage Cabin will not disappoint!

Originally sited in Laurin, MT during the gold rush era of the 1860’s. After the owner Sarah purchased the Teacherage, it was dismantled, transported and re-stacked at Chico. A perfectly situated cabin in the middle of Paradise Valley, where you can gaze at the night stars in the peaceful serenity of the Emigrant Gulch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sort of items should I make sure to bring?

Besides your own food and shampoo, we recommend bring a good pair of hiking boots. Water shoes as well for walking around the hot springs nearby. Depending on the time of year we also recommend bringing some warm cloths or a bathing suit. 

Are there any movies to watch in the cabins?

No, currently none of have a TV or DVD player. We recommend downloading any movies or TV before coming for your stay. We do provide Wifi as well to access streaming services.

What sort of cooking supplies & dishes are the cabins stocked with?

We supply pots, pans, coffee maker with filters, microwave, blender, cooking stove with oven, refrigerator, dishes. We also supply good coffee, teas, spices and cooking oil.

What sort of toiletries is the bathroom supplied with?

Bathrooms are supplied with toilet paper, Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap, towels, and washcloths.
